PRP started out in 2007 as K-log, a joint venture between the Kelly Group, a listed staffing company, and Sitwala Technologies, a technology start-up specialising in software development and electronic hardware design.
Our first challenge of managing a workforce of 20,000 temporary employees operating at thousands of geographically distributed, 3rd party client sites, and paying these employees weekly, was an important influence in creating the successful cloud-based workforce management solution PRP provides today.

Growth and Expansion
In 2012, a group of private investors acquired Kelly's shareholding and established PRP as an independent workforce management company.
PRP, which stands for People Resource Planning, was designed as an enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution focused on people.
The company grew rapidly, earning a strong reputation in outsourced services, including cleaning, security, catering, landscaping, and facilities management, where its cloud-based platform and biometric clocking technology are ideally suited to large, geographically distributed workforces. PRP's success soon expanded into retail, manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, healthcare, and other industries.
About
2020 - Today
Driving Innovation
In 2020 PRP launched its employee clocking and self-service app called Buzz and in 2024 added 3rd party OEM biometric devices to its product offering, providing customers with a comprehensive and ever-evolving range of clocking options to suit any work environment. Our newest clocking option, Coast, allows multiple employees to clock on a standard Android device using facial recognition.
Today, PRP helps organisations manage their workforce more efficiently through seamlessly integrated workforce management solutions, including cloud software, biometric clocking, clocking on standard devices, and employee self-service technology. With a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, PRP delivers solutions that simplify operations, improve efficiency, and support business growth.
